Our Fees

He generally charges fees as described in the Society of Garden Designers excellent booklet. ‘Engaging a Garden Designer-Guidance for clients on fees’ we will happily send you a copy.

FIXED PRICE
He offers highly competitive fixed price quotations for garden design work. His Silver Leaf Service cost just £450 for a simple small 200 sqm garden. For the Gold Leaf Service he charges only £75.00 for the initial visit which is offset against any future design work.

He is not VAT registered. 

PERCENTAGE FEE
When working on design and build projects he normally charges a 10-15% fee based on the size of the project and the final contract sum.

EXPENSES
If working away from home/office, travel and overnight accommodation costs will be agreed before commencement of the work.

Payment

Our charges and payments schedule (applies to U.K. only)

PAYMENT 1 - 20% of the agreed Design fee is payable as a deposit.

PAYMENT 2 - A further 50% is payable on presentation and acceptance of the concept plans.

PAYMENT 3 - The final balance is payable WITHIN 7 DAYS of presentation and acceptance of the completed design.

When you are ready to have the scheme installed we can help by project managing the job on your behalf or provide you with the names of excellent contractors with whom we have dealt in the past.
