We have listened carefully to our customers' requirements over the years and are pleased to announce our new 2 levels of Garden Design to cater for every size of garden and every size of pocket.

Silver Leaf garden design service

Our fixed price Silver Leaf garden design service for the smaller garden (max 199 sq m) gives everyone a chance to have a professional design carried out without breaking the bank.

On receipt of a 20% deposit:

• You will receive a garden design questionnaire that helps you make decisions about your garden and points us in the right direction.
• When we have received your questionnaire, our designer will arrange a visit, and using your questionnaire, will make sure that we really understand your needs and aspirations.
• Your budget for the overall project, including construction will be discussed and we will photograph and survey the garden.
• Following our meeting, within 2 weeks we will send you our preliminary plans having carefully considered your requirements.
• Within a couple of days, our designer will phone you to discuss these ideas, to ensure you are completely satisfied.
• We’ll deliver two copies of the final scale drawing with hard landscape and planting recommendations, and collect the cheque for the balance.

Our fixed price Silver Leaf service costs just £450.00

When you are ready to have the scheme installed, we can either help by project managing the job on your behalf or provide you with the names of excellent contractors with whom we have dealt in the past.

Gold Leaf garden design service

Our Gold Leaf garden design service caters for the larger (over 200 sq m) or more complex garden.

Step 1. Meeting and Consultation

We will arrange an initial ‘meeting and consultation’ for which there is a set charge of £60.00

All our other charges are subject to a written quotation and the client's written acceptance.

We will meet you at your home to discuss the issues involved, your aspirations, tastes and the practical aspects. Within 5 working days, you will receive: -

• Notes describing our understanding of your requirements
• Our design intentions
• Our quotation for the remainder of the design commission-steps 2, 3 and 4.

Step 2. The Dimensional Survey

On receipt of your written order, we will arrange to carry out a full dimensional survey of your garden and the exterior of your house and other buildings. If the work involves walls, bridges or other substantial structures, subject to your approval, we may have to employ other professionals (e.g. construction engineers) and pass the invoices on at cost.

Possible disbursements such as planning application fees, land survey and soil testing charges will be passed on to you at cost.

Step 3. Concept Plans and Sketches

We will thoughtfully condense all the information gathered and produce a concept plan and present it to you. We will note any agreed changes and amend the design accordingly.

Step 4 The Completed Design

We will present a carefully hand drawn black and white scale plan.

Step 5 Planting Plans

If required we will estimate for and submit separately, a scaled planting plan.

Payment Schedule

Our charges and payments schedule (applies to U.K. only)

PAYMENT 1 - A fixed charge of £60.00 for step 1 payable on the day of the initial site visit.

PAYMENT 2 - 50% of the design commission quotation is payable to the designer on presentation of the concept plans.

PAYMENT 3 - The final 50% is payable to the designer on presentation of the completed design.
