We generally try and stick to the fees as described in the Society of Garden Designers excellent booklet. ‘Engaging a Garden Designer-Guidance for clients on fees’ we will happily send you a copy.
Fixed Price
We offer highly competitive rates for garden design work and after many years experience we have found the most equitable way to work is on a fixed price basis so the fees are known by all parties before commencement.
Percentage fee basis
If working on design and build projects then we normally charge a fee based on the size of the project and the final contract sum.
Expenses
If working away from home/office we will agree travel and overnight accommodation costs before commencement of the work.
