Contract monitoring services
The important steps we take to ensure the successful
construction of your new garden.
- Draw up job specifications and scope of work documents.
- Draw up engineering drawings for certain elements of the work, liaising with consultants where necessary.
- Obtain Bills of Quantity.
- Agree the form of Contract to work under-*JCLI contract or the **JCT Building contract for the home owner.
- Find three interested and qualified contractors.
- Send job paperwork pack to all three contractors and meet them on site if necessary.
- Agree criteria for selection of contractor and discuss estimates with client and re-specify if necessary.
- Negotiate with successful contractor on price and dates for commencement and completion etc.
- Place order.
- Supervise the setting out.
- Attend the site if required liaising with the contractor throughout the course of the work.
- Keep a photographic record and liaise regularly with the client.
- Supervise setting out of the plants.
- Agree on final handover.
All for a fee based on the construction costs.
